About the event

FoSMAG warmly welcomes Paul Finn to give May 2024's illustrated talk in the new venue of the Banqueting Hall at Tudor House. Paul's talk looks at paintings from the early Renaissance to the Baroque era. He'll show how artistic knowledge of materials and appreciation of composition changed over three centuries. Images will come from Paul's visits to paintings in Italy over many years.

Paul Finn is a contemporary landscape artist. He studied at Ravensbourne School of Art and at the Slade School of Fine Art. He is primarily interested in the depiction of space, and recreating the joys and emotions he experiences from being in the landscape itself.
