Basingstoke does have a History!
Join archaeologist Jenny Stevens for March's illustrated talk.

Southampton City Art Gallery, Civic Centre, Commercial Rd, Southampton SO14 7LY, UK
About the event
Jenny, like many Hampshire residents, had a less than complimentary view of Basingstoke. However, her 14 years at the town's Willis Museum - running the venue, programming, and caring for the collections - opened her eyes to the rich history of this town normally best known for its roundabouts!
Jenny Stevens is an archaeologist by training and has been in the Heritage Industry for over 30 years. During that time, her roles have included Museum Curator for Hampshire Museum Service (now known as Hampshire Cultural Trust).
