About the event
We're opening up the floor to FoSMAG members, each of whom gets a maximum of ten minutes to talk about an object or artwork of their choice from Southampon Cultural Services' collections. Six talks for the price of one! The provisional schedule is:
- A British Restaurant at Winchester (Leonard Daniels) by Tim Craven
- Out in the Rain (Maria Brooks) by John Jones
- Timber Run in the Welsh Hills (Lucy Kemp-Welch) by Alan Langford
- Iris 02 (Lucy Ash) by Ian Caddy
- Gypsy Fortune Telling Machine at SeaCity Museum, by Deborah Goatley-Birch
- The Artist's Sister in the Garb of a Nun (Sofonisba Anguissola), by Jenny Leonard
About the event:
- Please reserve your seat in advance by clicking the Register button. We have a limited seating capacity of 35 in our temporary venue. We may not be able to accommodate you if you don't let us know in advance that you're coming.
- We're meeting in the Banqueting Hall at Tudor House.
- Everyone's welcome - you don't have to be a member to come to our talks!
- Individual admission is £4.00 for FoSMAG members and students, £6.00 for other non-members.
- Please be ready to pay in cash or by chip+pin card payment at the door.
