Afternoon Tea at Tudor House

Members are invited to our annual tea party, when Ally Hayes and Wendy Stokes of Bevois Valley History will talk about the awful French Raid of 1338 in the very area of Tudor House. It enraged and upset Edward III as well as the poor townsfolk and was an additional spark that would ignite the start of the Hundred Years war. Recover from the excitement of the story with a genteel repast of sandwiches, cake and tea in the cafe and garden.

• Please note that booking for the tea party has now closed, as we have to order the catering in advance.
• The tea party is at Tudor House, Southampton, 3pm-5pm on Wednesday 12 June .
